Contrary to popular belief, Vegas is much more than just booze, gambling and girls. If it is like a treasure box for thrill seekers, then it can also be an adventure park for families with little ones.

Believe me, my family’s been there and done that!

My folks decided to visit Las Vegas again in their early forties to get in touch with their wild side. That meant that me and my brother got to experience Vegas at not so friendly-Vegas age. But fortunately for us, it still turned out to be a great adventure.

Activities like Comedy Pet Theatre, Sky Diving, Voodoo Zipline, Scootercar Tour of the Red Rock Canyon and theme Parks like Indoor Mini Golf, Mini Grand Prix, Laser Tag, Wet n’ Wild water park (and many more!) kept us happily busy during our days.

So you see, the golden rule to navigate Vegas with your family is to give your children the day time to explore softer side of Vegas and tire them enough, so that you can happily enjoy the conventional side of Vegas at night with your beloved half.

You can take a short drive away from the Strip to escape the more adult elements of the sin-city, and make it fun for your family by renting hummer limousine. Or you can visit the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. to get an up-close look at costumes used in the actual movies as well as in-depth videos and interactive exhibits.

And if you are a sweet tooth and a fan of colours, then visiting the Four-storied M&M store should be on your list. If you are a history buff or simply like trains, then you should not miss out on Nevada State Railroad Museum. It even lets the visitors ride a 1930s-era track train!

Plan a picnic lunch or go hiking on Grand Canyon to see rare features like petroglyphs and hidden springs. But keep plenty of water at your side at all time, as the sin city can get a little too hot in summer season.

Take a tour and Instagram worthy pictures at the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens of the Bellagio Hotel. Or take a Gondola Ride at the Venetian Hotel with your personal gondolier who sings you Italian songs. After all these grand hotels are much more than just their Casinos!

In the entertainment capital of the world, see a family friendly show like Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil, a beautiful show with non-stop breath-taking acrobatic and artistic acts.

And if you plan a summer vacation, then definitely include two of the city’s most thrilling water parks, Wet n’ Wild or Cowabunga Bay in your ‘to visit’ list. Both offer a range of attraction that surely will excite every member of the family, from scream-inducing water slides to go-with-the-flow lazy rivers.

So, that is how my friends, the Vegas-experience equilibrium is maintained.

Now go plan your next Sin city trip guilt free, with your kids!
